DIY Cardboard Box Footstool
I love not only how nice the finished product came out, but how well it blends with my existing furniture. Plus, it cost me $0 to make and saved me a ton of storage space in my closet. Overall, a very fun and worthy project!

Valentine’s Day Crepe Paper Heart Wreath
This year I wanted to create a cute Valentine’s Day door wreath – and was super keen to try out a technique, which to date, I had not yet found a reason to try: making roses out of crepe paper streamers. These adorable flowers are made from the same rolls you find in the party section of your local dollar store. And if you choose to make your own wreath frame, as I did (using recycled materials), you too will be able to make something like this for just $3. Want to learn more?
DIY Stripped Navy Shirt-to-Skirt (and 1st!) Refashion
…I though it might be fun to try “refashioning” some clothes from our local GoodWill. I figured if it works out, I’ll have turned someone’s trash into a wearable treasure – and if it doesn’t, I’m only out a few bucks (and will feel a whole lot less guilty about wasting the materials). I figured it was worth a shot!
DIY Quatrefoil Art Project
I should also note that I did this all while juggling off 3 cats, who, were determined to sit on the enivable wet canvas that was stealing all “their” attention. Needless to say, this work was stretched out over several nights, overwhich, I painted my toe nails a lovely shade of aqua to try, unsucessfully, to endear formentioned hubby to the colour.
DIY Winter Coats for Doggies
3 meters is a heck of a lot of fabic, especially when you’re talking about fleece. It’s bulky to store and only useful on a select range of projects. So, left with a considerable amount from the pillow project, I was left to ponder and contimplate how I would use up the rest of my surplus…
