I believe that creativity is a powerful skill that can be practiced and developed. I hope my blog inspires you to find your very own "creative lment". ~LM
Hubby and I are heading off to Cuba this week (yay!!), but before I left, I made it a priority to finish my monthly art project for April. I went full-out with an Easter egg theme, using some fabulous designer paper I’ve been
hoarding saving now for a while. The pattern of the paper offered up some beautiful designs for the eggs and some lovely texture for the green grass. I used a sweet little sentiment, “easter’s on its way” from PaperTrey Ink‘s Scrambled Egg’s stamp set, and finished the project off with a neat band of yellow grosgrain ribbon. Overall, a very simple image showcasing a fresh spring pallet of blue, yellow, pink and green.
This project took me less than 15 minutes to make, which made me happy as I had to get back to checking things off my “pre-vacation to-do list” lol. Pieces like this prove that you don’t need to set aside long chunks of time to do something artistic. Just a few minutes can be productive and fun – while providing a healthy dose of creativity to balance out your day. Hoping the Easter bunny is good to each and everyone of you! :D ~LM
